Hilda and Chris

Rain on a wedding day has always been considered “good luck”.  It comes from several cultures mainly from the Hindu with the idea that a wet knot is harder to untie.  It rained a little bit on Hilda and Chris’ outdoor wedding but I know they don’t need the luck.  Their ceremony was small and personal with family and close friends.  The reception on the other hand started off like any other but when the music started bumpin, so did the party!

Hilda and Chris- Thank you for giving me the privilege to record this monumental occasion of your new life together.  It was truly my pleasure.

Eric – You’re an awesome brother and one helluva second shooter, I could not have done this without you.  Thank you.

Sydney's Back!

Around this time last year, at my sister’s request, my brother and I put together a surprise Father’s Day gift for Mike. Back then our game plan was to let Sydney loose and try our best to keep up with her in hopes that we take enough shots and footage worth using. We began by a lake near the entrance, went through an entire soccer field where she got tangled into the goalie’s net, ran circles around the playground and finally ended up at the swings. She wanted to be in several places at once. We were all pretty worn out by the time it was over…2 and a half hour’s later.

What a difference a year makes! At this photo shoot, Sydney stood by her Dad’s side and smiled for the camera when we asked her to. All within 20 feet distance and under 15 minutes!!

The bond between a father and daughter is so amazing. We all know how much Sydney adores her Daddy. One of Sydney’s favorite saying is…”Daddy you be the prince and I be the princess” Mike gladly assumes his role and plays along with her. The connection they have reminds me of my sister’s and my dad’s…a father’s love is something you never outgrow.

For those that haven’t seen it, here is the collaboration my brother and I did last year.
